My first highlighted game of Day 2 at the @HoopSeen Main Event delivered exactly what you want out of a matchup like this… straight grit, physical play, and zero breathing room.
TN Impact Gold and Georgia Ignites 2027 came out swinging, turning it into a straight dog fight from the opening tip. Every possession felt earned, every bucket had resistance, and the score reflected it with a tight 23-20 battle at the half.
The second half opened up just a little offensively, but the intensity never dropped. If anything, it ramped up. Defense stayed active, bodies were flying, and momentum was hanging by a thread… until Nathaniel Cobb ripped it away. Off a steal, Cobb rose up and delivered a vicious poster jam that lit a fire under TN Impact Gold and flipped the energy of the game. From that moment on, they grabbed control and never gave it back, closing out a tough 53-44 win.
What made TN Impact Gold so dangerous was their balance. There was no single answer for them. Try to take one away, and another stepped up. It was a pick-your-poison type of game.
#21 Nathaniel Cobb (@nathanielhcobb) led the charge with 14pts, 8rebs, and 1blk, setting the tone on both ends and delivering the biggest moment of the game.
#11 Finn Kerschbaum (@kerschbaum_finn )brought strong all-around production with 10pts, 8rebs, 2asts, and 1stl.
#34 Damian Cullom (@dametime_51 ) filled the stuffed the stat sheet with 9pts, 7rebs, and 5asts, controlling the flow and making plays happen.
#1 Londen Horne(@lhorne2027) added 9pts, 3rebs, 2asts, and 1stl, giving them another steady presence.
Georgia Ignites didn’t back down and kept it competitive throughout, led by #22 Jaimere Martin (@middymere ), who finished with 11pts and 4rebs.
This one wasn’t about flash… it was about toughness, execution, and who could take a punch and respond. TN Impact Gold did just that when it mattered most.
