Bang Yedam and his parents will be appearing on KBS 'Happy Together', one of KBS' most popular talk shows, which is returning after 6 years and airing this July!
Hosted by Yoo Jaesuk, the show will come back with a new "storytelling music audition" format. Bang Yedam's family has recently participated in recording already and were reported to have impressed the MCs with their outstanding vocal abilities and high-quality harmonies 🤍

Yedam talking about his beard:
🦊: There is a lot of debate/discussion for and against the beard itself, and I think it's a very good sign. In a way, I wore this look hoping for and aiming for it. So while some say the beard doesn't suit me and some say it's a cool attempt... As for me, I like it. I also lived 20+ years without a beard, it's only now I finally get to live with a beard like this. It feels a bit awkward for me too, but I think it's good. Anyway, my beard gives people something to talk about and there are people who view it favorably.
🦊: And I've been picturing certain moments where the meaning of the beard and curiosities about it are resolved, and if the plans come true, it would be incredibly moving and impactful, which is one of the reasons why I grew the beard.

Dimo Rex leans toward hip-hop/R&B, while Bang Yedam is more pop and commercial. They also differ in genre, attitude, and outfit. For example, if Yedam release a hyperpop song it might feel unexpected, but from Dimo Rex it would feel more natural/accepted.

Yedam said that during his ANTIDOTE listening party, some young musicians came up to him afterwards and were giving him CDs of their music and saying, "Please make sure to listen to it" and, "I wish we could make music together." He said it was exactly the kind of legend-like experience he only ever heard happen to his sunbaes, so he was surprised. Yedam clarified in his live that he's both Bang Yedam AND Dimo Rex and he's not changing his stage name or anything like that. He said Dimo Rex started as like an experiment and he wasn't very certain about doing it at first but he felt strongly that he had to try it, and there were far more positive effects than he expected. He learned and improved so much and accumulated so much experience that he would've regretted it if he hadn't done it.
He also feels like he gained experience in things like how people react when he does a bit of a social experiment, or how they react when he appears in a certain outfit. So he really likes the whole process and the work is going so well that he said he keeps making songs now like crazy. Now he feels like he should be consistently doing a lot of things, and he hopes we can think of it as him catching up on overdue "homework" 🥹
