Men’s First Team Head Coach Liam Manning has been granted compassionate leave for the remainder of the 2025/26 Sky Bet League One season.
Liam has the full support of everyone at Huddersfield Town, and we will remain in regular contact with him and those close to him.

That’s 8 wins and 28 points in the last 16 games, incredible when you think of that run where everything seemed to conspire against us.
Might need another result but we’re now almost as close to the play-offs as the bottom 4 which was unthinkable after Stockport away! #drfc

What a couple of weeks for #drfc, 11 points from 5 games and a third clean sheet in a row. Up to 50 which was always the first target…
The sort of result you need in a season like this, huge effort in shocking conditions after the last few weeks. A few days off now surely!

Think it went under the radar that Owen Bailey was on 7 bookings through 24 league games. Navigated brilliantly to pick up just 1 in 13 games to avoid a ban, 14 after Barnsley #drfc

Only one away win in League One today - a massive one for #drfc for all kinds of reasons.
Byrne, Pearson and Bailey marshalled us through that, combined with a huge save from TLT towards the end. Like Pearson, he has responded brilliantly to competition for places 🧤

Robbie Gotts has been in inspired form ever since the turn of the year. Not to jinx him but he's been brilliant again so far tonight. Carries it well and just has a sprinkling of class about him #drfc

Defence were strong and brilliantly organised but it was a proper team effort.
The midfield did no end of running and screening, the wide players worked so hard to track runs, and Adelakun covered lots of ground too. TLT also composed after another unexpected start #drfc

Absolutely tremendous effort, Pearson and Gotts brilliant again, put absolutely everything in and fully deserved the clean sheet and point.

Goes without saying that’s a massive win. You can’t fault the spirit of this side, four points from where we were at half time on Tuesday feels huge.

@daniel_nice7 Pains me to say it, but no way are we keeping Bailey this summer. I hope we put up a good fight for him, and hope he's loyal, but i think this will be his last here...

There’s still a long way to go though, got to get to 50 and go from there.
There’s a few teams I don’t think will go down, probably demonstrated in some recent results. Our form and PPG is positive though, as has been the ability to beat rivals to this point #drfc

Think Pearson has been harshly judged this season, he’s a top professional who’s waited patiently and made some important contributions, including tonight.
