How hard would it be (not at all) and how much longer would it take (5 seconds?), for VAR to ask, “What is the ruling on the pitch?” And either respond with “VAR confirms the ruling on the pitch” or “we might have a conflict, come check it out”

@wcarroll3 It doesn't take any effort at all to be decent. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and try to be a good steward until someone gives me reason to feel otherwise. I think I recall 2 fights in the 10 years I've been going to Republic games.

Both these videos with fake tough guys taking cheap shots at intoxicate individuals, cowards. Push him down the stairs when he can barely stand. Say he hits his head on a step and he dies, suffers traumatic brain injury, that makes you feel "like a man"? Get a life.

@theUSLshow He is an academy player who earned the opportunity to train with the first team. If he didn't hold his own in those sessions, there's no way they put him out there. Players I talked to said he is very coachable, puts in the work to get better and plays beyond his years.

@MLS_Buzz For people asking, he did fine. He came on in the 87th minute of a game his team was winning 2-0. Had a couple of touches, nice lead pass that sprung an attack, looked comfortable. They have an academy team he plays on and he trains with the first team depending on schedule.

@theUSLshow He is being carefully monitored by the staff and plays frequently with the first team in training. While I would not at all call his debut a stunt, if the team were not up two goals in the 87th minute, he would not have gone in. It was a safe opportunity to get him exposure.

@GurrMr46578 @SacRepublicFC Absolutely! There was so much to like about the performance, good movement, solid defending, took their chances in the second half and got a much deserved three points. FYI- While #2 Gurr shirts are not uncommon at the stadium, I saw a #2 Grrrrr kit on a lady yesterday 😂
