BJP HC made him resign for no reason in 2021. He was doing well as a CM.
Which is why you'll see disparity in LS & VS for KA. LS is voted for Modi/Shah. Ppl won't vote for puppets unlike many other major states.
Just like MH where BJP did well in 2019 n 2024 cuz ppl voted for Fadnavis in VS.

@keshavbedi Women reservation is bad not because of Yogi Adityanath's arguments but because it restricts voter choice, prevents an average individual from contesting that seat, leads to rise in rubber stamp leaders who are directly controlled by their family or party high command.

Purpose of likes of him getting into mainstream is to push the "acceptable boundaries" in the political discourse & in the eyes of those who are harmed by his politics (GCs). After demand of separate electorate you wouldn't find even 80%reservation as much problematic as earlier.

‼️A Big Win For GC Warriors‼️ OBC & Minorities have been removed from the ambit of Rohith Vemula bill, after recent UGC debate!! Earlier version of the bill had SC, ST, OBC & minorities as "protected categories", leaving only GC as oppressors. However, after SC stayed the recent UGC 2026 regulations, OBC & minorities were removed from the list of "protected categories". Important point to note is that this demand was made by dalit organizations themselves. Current version of the bill gives protection to only to SC/ST students & staff. However, given that SC/ST already get protection under SC/ST act, this bill is just redundant, duplicate & therefore should be challenged in Court. Which hopefully we will, soon. But, in the meantime, people who troll GC right activists- See this is what we could achieve, which your IT cell & party couldn't!! Thank us!!

Repeating again, slowly, so that ppl can understand.
1. Rohith Vemula bill for SC/ST got cabinet nod.
This was the news from 16th April, 2026.
2. When we digged to find why there was no OBC/minorities mentioned, we found that bill's earlier version did have SC, ST, OBC, Minorities.
But OBC & minorities were removed after UGC issue (SC staying UGC 2026)
-This news is from Feb
(Just because it happened in Feb, doesn't mean it's not because of UGC-its mentioned in article itself)
3. Bill will be tabled in monsoon session. If passed in assembly, we have to see what BJP's governor will do.

Telangana : 77%
Karnataka : 76.8%
Tamil Nadu : 75.3%
Kerala : 72.6%
Uttar Pradesh : 48.2%
Madhya Pradesh : 44.8%
Chattisgarh : 53.8%
Bihar : 25.9%
How is this sustainable? One can understand very small states or states that have been created recently to have low %.
But why are UP, MP, Bihar with such large populations and geographical area lagging so much behind?
Every large state should hit 75% and small states should be encouraged to be above 50% for federalism to be equitable. Some states can’t be generating income and taxes to feed doles for laggard states.
Economically laggard states gaining more political power suits Modi and BJP. No wonder they want UP and Bihar to have more and more MPs.
A new formula for economic and power sharing has to be evolved which encourages states delivering governance. Else India will go from bad to worse. And the time for it is now.
