Tina please address how you're going to stave off more businesses leaving Oregon and what you'll do to attract more.
Oregon is in trouble if you haven't noticed and no posts about "gender affirming care and protecting access to medically necessary services" is going to change this.
Please go back to work.

@WallStreetApes There’s no defending a $9 cup of coffee because at best it can barely be described as simply a cup of coffee. It’s a treat or dessert if anything even though there is technically some coffee in it.
Actual Starbucks coffee is still affordable. For now.

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9
He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee
“In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.”
He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience”
How out of touch could a person possibly be…

@Jeff_Eager Can anyone explain this grift? Who else is getting paid here?

@kevinvdahlgren As a Democrat I’m saying liberals have completely lost the plot.

Analysis will identify issues impacting affordability for Multnomah County residents. Here's what to know: koin.com/local/multnoma…

English

“…leaders have approved a study…”
More money wasted. You don’t need a study to tell us that the few young up comers there are will choose a place that is more affordable and has better schools.
Multnomah County will likely not be that area because of the high cost of living which we’re all painfully well aware of unfortunately.

@sk1nn7wh0r33 “Dropped off my laundry…” what? Where do you drop it off?

@WallStreetApes Private equity involvement always seems to detract from the product while there’s an increase in the price. Noticing this with a few plumbing and HVAC companies around town.
English

This is what $22 gets you at Panera Bread
The sandwich looks worse than cafeteria food, the bread looks dry, the salad is filled maybe half way
Since being bought by a private equity firm, Panera has seen a 60-70% increase in price on menu items
The private equity firm JAB implemented cost-cutting measures like portion reductions, ingredient changes, staffing adjustments and of course, raising prices

@TinaKotek Could you please go back to work and do things that affect everyday Oregonians? Maybe address why businesses are leaving Oregon en masse.
English

@TinaKotek @ufcw555 First thought after reading this: “I wonder how much $$ they’re giving her?”
English

I’m honored to have the endorsement of @ufcw555. These workers show up for us every single day. I will never stop fighting for fair wages, safe workplaces, and an economy where the people who do the essential work can actually afford to live in the communities they serve.

@CAgovernor Defer??? WAT??? How is this helping when a decade rolls by and there’s a mountain of unpaid property taxes for a time when the property didn’t exist and suddenly it comes due?
This isn’t help. Shame on you.
English

Let’s be clear: LA fire survivors who lost their homes shouldn’t have to pay property taxes based on a value of a property that no longer exists.
Today my office urged LA County to offer clarity and assurance for these impacted survivors so that they can continue to defer payments without penalty.
English

@MayorOfLA 10%? You’re boasting over 10%? Seems like rounding error which would occur in Q1 and new yearly budgets. I’m not even in the industry and it seems pretty lame to be boasting about.
English

@SenJeffMerkley Please Jeff go back to work and help develop a business climate in Oregon. Enough shenanigans at our expense.
