As the last day of the season comes on Saturday this was the 87/88 last one #STFC V #AVFC and a tense 0-0 saw villa promoted on goals scored as they tied second with Middlesbrough just under 11000 watching , season ticket cheaper in the green seats ???

@stprogs I turned down quite a few offers, & quite a bit of money, from Villa fans for my (season) ticket. Understandably they were desperate to get in.

Just a suggestion, but would everyone maybe take a white toilet roll, or pockets full of red and white tickertape to the match? There's unrealpressure on everyone, so it'd be amazing for the players to walk out to a sea of visible and vocal support #stfc

Sadly there are now more EFL Clubs who have stopped producing Programmes than do. Such a shame. I collected them, and they are/were a brilliant souvenir of a day at the Football

@BroadcastMoose At Crawley we have re-introduced the match day programme - Red Devils Diary produced by a group of supporters who all contribute towards the content - no adverts - 40 glossy pages, A5, and the cost £2 - shows what can be achieved if done right.

@stprogs The original game was abandoned, all of #STFCs abandoned games have had a new programme produced.

Up next for #STFC a massive game sat V #GTFC and these programmes are from 1960/61 a postponed game and the rearranged match a few days later and a great little 4 page issue when they could have possibly used original, 3-2 defeat for town att 9662
