The story of Easter 2026: The enemy tried to kill him on Friday. He was in a tomb-like crevasse on a hill unseen on Saturday. The crevasse was empty on Sunday, and the Colonel was alive. And the people rejoiced. Just another coincidence? Or another reminder from above as we remember our Savior, King of Kings on this day. ✝️✝️✝️

The second F-15E airman shot down behind enemy lines HAS BEEN RESCUED! He is injured, but safe. It was a daring rescue that required a firefight with the enemy. Nobody on the U.S. special rescue team was killed. Once again, we see the bravery and expertise of the finest military in the world. Every American should rejoice in this astounding rescue. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Sen. Rehmet was well aware he wouldn’t be appointed to interim committees. Sen. Rehmet won a special election to fill out an unexpired interim term in 2026, in which no bills are filed, voted on, or passed. He has to win in November to serve a full term in the legislature. If he does win in November, he would be assigned committees like anyone else at the beginning of the next legislative session in January 2027. I explained that to him a month ago. He said he understood. Historically, Sen. Flores, Sen. Eckhardt, and Sen. Cook were not appointed to interim committees either following their special election victories in 2018, 2020, and 2024, respectively. The same will apply to Brett Ligon if he wins the Senate District 4 special election in May. Sen. Rehmet’s recent complaint is just a cheap shot to try to score political points for his election. #txlege
