If the Caribbean and Africa want reparations, why is Europe also not entitled to reparations? Where does this end? Should Italy pay reparations for slavery in the Roman Empire? The current state of the Royal Navy: 2 aircraft carriers — neither operational. 6 Type 45 destroyers (our most powerful warships) — one operational (in Cyprus). 7 Type 23 frigates (less powerful, much older) — three operational 5 Astute class nuke-powered subs — one operational (in Arabian Sea?). Surely those responsible for this appalling state of unreadiness (a national embarrassment if ever there was one)— political, civilian and military — should be fired/charged. Their incompetence has effectively left us without a navy. Quite an achievement for an ancient island nation.

Never forget: Britain was the first country in world history to deliberately make itself poorer in the pursuit of a moral good - i.e. the vast sums it expended enforcing an end to the slave trade on land and the high seas. I'm tired of the nasty antisemitic conspiracy theories and nonsense claims regarding the Hatzola ambulance services in the United Kingdom. The service is not massively different to the St. John's Ambulance service in many respects. Both serve the entire community irrespective of ethnicity, culture or religious background. Both are charities/non-profits. Both organisations subscribe to virtually the same principles, codes of ethics and philosophy. Both services provided emergency medical response to those needing assistance or transportation to hospital. St. John's Ambulance service is of course way bigger and has the capability of being nation-wide. It is absolutely amazing that our Jewish community contribute to their country in such ways. Stop spreading these nonsense claims that Jews have their own special ambulances that refuse services to non-Jews. It is a pathetic and antisemitic claim that has no basis in reality.

🚨Starmer's PMQs Dodge-Fest EXPOSED: Speaker Hoyle's Two-Tier HYPOCRISY on Full Display Sir Edward Leigh, Father of the House, rightly stood up at PMQs yesterday to highlight a glaring problem: Keir Starmer consistently dodges direct questions, turning what should be scrutiny into scripted evasion. Speaker Lindsay Hoyle's response? A shrug and "there's nothing I can do." That's simply not credible. In 2021, the same Speaker twice interrupted Boris Johnson mid-answer, demanding he address the questions asked and even ordering him to sit down. He asserted control over the chamber without hesitation. Yet under a Labour Prime Minister, Hoyle claims his hands are tied. This isn't impartiality — it's two-tier Speaker, protecting two-tier accountability. Starmer treats Parliament with contempt, and Hoyle enables the farce. PMQs is meant to hold power to account, not provide cover for dodging it. Britain deserves real scrutiny, not this sham.

But the gap between British welfare standards and global welfare standards is not a small gap. When you buy British, you are buying inside a legal framework that most of the world has not yet built. That's worth something.

The UK Met Office said February 2026 was Worcestershire's wettest February since 1836. But the station data does not support that. Local gauges, when combined, registered a little over 130 mm (or 5.2 in) - not even close to a record. Moreover, those local stations only go back to 1952 and 1976 - none reach anywhere near 1836. That 1836 claim comes from a reconstructed regional data set. In other words, station readings are being usurped by a model-derived estimate - not like-for-like data. The media dutifully picked up on the report, linking the rains to human CO2 emissions. But looking nationally, while February in the UK was wet, it was far from exceptional. According to the records, a total of 25 Februarys have been wetter across the country.

The first rerun aired before humans had walked on the Moon. Those reruns are still generating licensing revenue 57 years later. He’s been famous for 60 consecutive years. He survived being typecast so severely in the 1970s that he did convention appearances for grocery money. He survived his third wife’s death. He survived Hollywood writing him off as a joke. Then he weaponized the joke. Priceline commercials. The roast. Spoken-word albums where he recites Elton John lyrics as dramatic monologue. Every project that should have ended his career somehow added to it. At 73, back-to-back Emmys for Boston Legal. At 90, oldest person to fly to space. At 94, a Super Bowl ad. At 95, 4.3 million people watching him smoke a cigar on X. His career has now outlasted the Soviet Union, the Space Shuttle program, Blockbuster Video, MySpace, and the first three generations of AI models. He’s been working since Truman and he’s posting through the Claude era. The compounding is the point. 75 years of showing up created a distribution moat that no amount of talent alone could replicate.

The UK bent over backwards to prove it wasn’t the enemy. It recognised a Palestinian state. It tolerated mass anti-war protests—even when crowds chanted openly hateful slogans. It refused to designate Iran’s IRGC as a terrorist organisation. It stayed out of a direct US-Israel confrontation with the Iranian regime. And still—it wasn’t enough. A synagogue in Manchester was attacked. Jewish charity ambulances in London were burned. So let’s drop the illusion: this violence isn’t a reaction to UK foreign policy. It isn’t something that can be appeased away with concessions or restraint. It’s targeted hatred—and it must be stopped with action, not just words.

In 2022, the EU tested chemicals on over 1.1 MILLION animals, due to the mandatory requirement to do so under EU REACH regulations. Brexit allowed the UK to act differently. Our government wants the UK to realign again on these barbaric practices. Say NO to dynamic alignment.

What people think cows do: - Steal water from the global poor - Produce planet-cooking methane - Block land that should be growing crops - Exist mainly in dystopian American feedlots - Store dangerous fats - Represent an indulgence we can no longer afford What cows actually do: - Drink rain and return it to the water cycle - Participate in a carbon loop that has been running since ruminants evolved - Grass in, methane out, oxidises back, grass again: a closed loop - Convert inedible grass into complete protein, B12, and fat-soluble vitamins - Turn crop byproducts into food that would otherwise go to waste - Aerate soil with their hooves - Spread seed in their dung - Support insect populations that would otherwise collapse - Stimulate root growth that sequesters carbon The methane from a cow on a British hillside is not the same as burning ancient fossil carbon. The people presenting them as equivalent know this. They've noticed you don't.

Imagine if the United States had swallowed the Al Gore-style climate gospel back in the day... You don't really have to imagine it. Because there's a natural experiment that took place and that alternative future that the US dodged actually exists. It's called the United Kingdom. I seem to remember there was a sneering attitude from coastal liberal elites hooked on TED talks when Sarah Palin came on the scene and said "drill baby drill." They laughed and dismissed the idea of ramping up domestic fossil fuel production as backward and environmentally reckless. If it was up to them, they would have shut down fracking, choked off new drilling, slapped massive restrictions on oil and gas development, and chased the fantasy of rapid "green" transition at all costs. Instead America did the opposite. The result? UK households today pay 2X more than US households do for energy and their industrial electricity prices are among the highest in Europe. Sure they've lowered emissions (technically they just outsourced it) but at the cost of creating a massive structural economic disadvantage. Energy is the foundational input for everything - steel, chemicals, fertilizers, aluminum, cement, refining. When your electricity and gas bills are 2–6× higher, you just can't even compete. So you end up closing plants, offshoring jobs, and watching your industrial base slowly bleed out. So yeah, the UK's current predicament is exactly where the US would be in if the Green Lobby, Dems and Hollywood suckers had their way: energy-poor, import-dependent, economically hobbled, and geopolitically neutered. The worst part is it's completely ideological. The UK could have had more homegrown energy supply to buffer prices and keep revenue flowing, but Ed Miliband refuses to exploit the UK's own shale or North Sea potential aggressively. Decline really is a choice. Americans should be glad their leaders refused to make it.

Just add 8% to current UK GDP to make up the Brexit ‘shortfall’, then compare our GDP growth to other major European and G7 economies — and it quickly becomes apparent it’s anything but credible!!

Here it is, my annual reminder: don't spray spring dandelions with roundup. One flower can be visited by 100+ bees, and your chemical bullshit will kill all of them. If you hate dandelions so much, just pull them. Or leave them alone. It's not like they're going to shank you as you walk by.

NASA satellites show the Earth is becoming greener. Since the early 1980s, global leaf area has increased about 15%. That equals roughly 2 billion hectares of additional vegetation - an area twice the size of the United States. Vegetation is expanding into semi-arid regions, and agricultural productivity is rising. At least 70% of the greening is driven by rising CO2. Higher CO2 allows plants to photosynthesize more efficiently. More CO2 means more plant growth. The planet is not browning, it is greening.
