So i though why only stick with vision or sound. I gave Reachy the ability to measure my heart rate, breathing and sense a human presence. Using a 60GHz mmWave sensor attached to reachy its now able to remotely, without a device attached to me, sense multiple people in the room, focus on them and measure and monitor their heart rate and breathing. And provide fall detection alerting. I'm using an awesome sensor by Seeed studio and wrote some custom code to share this using a serial protocol on the device, which the Reachy mini platform is able to read out and monitor for changes. Person detection range is 6 meters and it can remotely read your heart rate and breather from a maximum of 1.5 meters away. @pollenrobotics x @huggingface x @seeedstudio #robovibing

Building the @pollenrobotics / @huggingface Reachy Mini with my daughter (9). At the 90 minute mark I (!) raised the topic that it would have been probably easier to stick to Legos, but she really wants to talk to it so we are pushing on.
