@nintenleaks Resident Evil as a series has been known as "Action Horror" the "survival horror" name is from the original game, and it stuck. So it's just if it leans more on the "survival" or item management side or on the action side, which doesn't require as much item management.

@WeaponNR I can literally tolerate those games at the least. I love ORC, and even enjoy Gaiden and Survivor is another favorite (especially the story behind the mass produced tyrants) But... umbrella corps is the only worst game in the series in my opinion

@JoshTheMedic And what I mean, again using Welcome to Racoon City it smashed RE1 and 2 story in a rushed mess, just like RE6 felt like at least 3 different games smashed together, also in a rushed mess (didn't feel as rushed as WtRC)

@JoshTheMedic I said it before and I'll say it again and again... RE6 wasn't bad, just a hot hot mess. That's always been my opinion on it and I stand by it to this day. My opinion on it is literally like how I feel about Welcome to Racoon City. If it was more focused it could have worked.

Miss me with this propaganda. I loved RE9 & I’m an actual veteran with the RE franchise, but ya’ll are not about to gaslight me into saying RE6–the game that was so astronomically bad it single-handedly almost killed the franchise-“is good.” That game is straight cow shit foh 😭
