Something new for us yesterday as the Enchanted Isle made its way north for an amazing trip to Sula Sgeir and North Rona. It was a long day for the boys but a very successful trip, with the group getting to land and go ashore on both islands. #uistseatours #sulasgeir #northrona

Quite bizarrely woke up to death threats made against me on my croft Facebook page overnight. A series of unhinged posts by someone locally, which have been reported to the police.

@frombarra It’s crazy, but there’ll be no comeback on the decision. Easy to make these calls when you’re on a salary regardless of wether you sail or not

It’s too windy for the ferry to sail today. Any more wind and the wind sock might have to earn its pay and move a wee touch.

@davidsteele05 Next update is mid Dec, that’ll be a bit more of an outlook for spring. Can rage all it wants over winter. Just play nice come spring. Canny do another August like that

@davidsteele05 FS - couldn’t help it. Winter pattern doesn’t look too extreme for heading into spring so might be a glimmer of hope for more settled season. All just a prediction. Now I’ve said it though….
