Fun Friday calls for collecting data, graphing it and analyzing your findings with M and M’s. Students worked hard to sort their data, graph it and then answer questions about the data they collected. So proud of their hard, independent work 😊 @meadowbrookem@emeadowschools
In CKLA we learned how insects communicate. Today we made one of those insects, the firefly, using some water bottles and glow sticks! @ParkwayEMSchool
Meadowbrook’s 2nd graders from Team Kasparello are on point! 🌵Check out their amazing student created bulletin board! Students wrote about one topic/skill they learned this year & explained why it is important! 💛💙 @emeadowschools

Guest reader day is always a day we look forward to during the year. Today we were so lucky that @dbetzpw was our guest reader. We loved the Piggy and Elephant book she read 🩷thanks @meadowbrookem, as always!
Students did a terrific job working in jigsaw groups to teach one another about European explorers! They conducted research, took notes, and created slides with animation, fun facts, and travel route maps to enhance their presentations! 🗺️🧭 @BGreenSchool@emeadowschools
Last week in CKLA we learned about the battle of Marathon and how we still have marathons today. Our very own @msfarinella taught us all about the NYC Marathon and we awarded her with her very own laurel wreath for her amazing accomplishment!
We ended our Ancient Civilization CKLA unit with a Chinese New Year and Diwali celebration! Fried rice, fortune cookies, red envelopes, paper lanterns and mehndi hand designs. We learned so much this unit! @ParkwayEMSchool@msfarinella
