Guest reader day is always a day we look forward to during the year. Today we were so lucky that @dbetzpw was our guest reader. We loved the Piggy and Elephant book she read 🩷thanks @meadowbrookem, as always!

Students did a terrific job working in jigsaw groups to teach one another about European explorers! They conducted research, took notes, and created slides with animation, fun facts, and travel route maps to enhance their presentations! 🗺️🧭 @BGreenSchool @emeadowschools

Last week in CKLA we learned about the battle of Marathon and how we still have marathons today. Our very own @msfarinella taught us all about the NYC Marathon and we awarded her with her very own laurel wreath for her amazing accomplishment!

Turkey Trot 2023 🦃

We ended our Ancient Civilization CKLA unit with a Chinese New Year and Diwali celebration! Fried rice, fortune cookies, red envelopes, paper lanterns and mehndi hand designs. We learned so much this unit! @ParkwayEMSchool @msfarinella
