Different process, different pace, I guess? Took me a year to finish LS. Started AY 9 months ago. I’ve been outlining the first part of Unposed since December but only posted chapter one four months later. So if you do the math… I like to take my time and deliver 🙂

Exactly🥲, having to make all of that make sense and in the way that your head imagine that while thinking about the next move is really hard. Sometimes I have to drink Redbulls in order to not lose the track of what I have in mind. Even the wrong song can make me rewrite half of the chapter 😭

For me, the hardest part is putting myself in the character’s shoes and understanding how they would feel, what they would say. It’s about seeing it through their eyes. That’s also why I usually focus on one POV only cuz jumping between 2 different minds all the time is hard haha

@LingOrmffwriter I feel like a lot of people don't realize how challenging writing can be and how much time it really takes. It's not just about putting words on a page, it's thinking, feeling, rewriting... over and over 🥴

@dcchaii Now that you mention it, I just realized that my current story started in July and I’m still on going lmao😭. Life is full and we are trying to hold on. Take your time and don’t rush, give the chapter when you feel it as good as you want

@choobawoobaLO_2 Tbh I don’t know, but I get this a lot… like a looooot. They can rush me all they want, but if I don’t have the time to write or the scenes aren’t clear in my mind, it’s simply not happening haha

@dcchaii do these readers ask for faster updates jokingly or seriously? If the latter, i hope you never feel the pressure to write just because they rush you. You have a process that’s your own. Each writer is unique!
