A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) backed by Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has re-elected Abdulrahman Mohammed and Samuel Anyanwu as the national chairman and secretary, respectively.
Mohammed and Anyanwu were re-elected through consensus on Sunday during the elective national convention held at velodrome of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The part of Rivers you come from should still matter for the Governorship. Nyerishi is a disciple of equity, fairness & justice. In the spirit of that, the Ijaws have done for us & should complete their tenure through a candidate that knows the pains people have passed through.

As of today, Peter Obi is miles richer than Atiku Abubakar. Peter Obi can fund a presidential election campaign solely without breaking a sweat, but Atiku can not. Since 2019, Atiku has been running his campaigns on contributory funding with bulk of the funds coming from others.
