I was recently asked this classic question: If 0 is at the left end and 1,000,000,000 at the right of this line, where should the dot representing 1,000,000 be located? I love this question but am also fascinated by the wrong answers and what sort of thinking they reveal.

I'm genuinely baffled by this question from my daughter's homework. What is the intended answer? Maybe I'll find out over the next week.

We shouldn’t punish kids for being kids. If they sit in desks too long, don’t be surprised if they get fidgety or talkative. Yes, there’s a time & place for quiet learning. But we need more time & places for kids to play, move, socialize & be kids. That's how they naturally learn

How do you provide context for his accomplishments if we can't talk about the racialized incidents of his past? Are we only to talk about his achievements and not his hurdles? I am confused but look forward to guidance from ⁦@GlennYoungkin⁩.
