$SPY - one thing you learn is that the market is kinda stupid. You'd think going into a long weekend where the president said we are not going to pound Iran harder than ever, it'd sell of a little, $CL at 112. But no. You can't reason with this beast, it does what it does.

Sure, thats what makes a market. I know on this site everyone wants to dunk, just presenting my alternative view. My point about sports is not the ones playing a sport, its the "cool" factor. I think they've lost that, and going after sports only is not as lucrative as it once was. But could it work out in 2028 (since that is their new timeline)? Sure who knows, thats 2 years away, a lot can change.

I respect your opinion but can’t say I agree with your reasonings at all. Generations moving away from sports? The amount of money sport stars command now makes almost every child want to play a sport! The world has never been a more active place and Nike are positioned to provide footwear particularly to pretty much any sport you can think of.

As crazy as I might sound, I still think $NKE is a great buying opportunity here for long term investors. And when I say long term, I mean years not quarters... The company is clearly still going through a transitionary period but the brand "Nike" is still one of the best in the world. Good luck finding someone who has a) never heard of the brand b) never bought from the brand. It's hilarious how low the sentiment is for a company with an annual net income of over $2.3 BILLION. Yet companies losing money hand over first are plastered all around X like they're a guarantee to riches. Yes, there are problems... • Revenue flat • Margins under pressure • China still weak (but slightly improving) But they are aware of the problems and working on fixing them. Not so long ago they were having similar problems in NA, which they're getting on top of now. They just need time to apply these same tactics to the rest of the markets. Lets be clear, expectations are LOW. As soon as they can start outperforming these poor expectations, we will get a huge rerating in the stock. In my view, this WILL happen at some point. There is a lot of negativity around the stock on X and constant reminders of the competition. Is this the first time competition has been around for Nike? No. Will it be the last? No. They're still going to sell footwear and apparel like they always have. Most companies that go through major resets like this are lucky to be turning a profit whilst they do so, $NKE are in the middle of hard reset whilst delivering profit in the billions. Price is currently $47 per share, could it go lower, yes. Will it be much higher than this in 3-5 years? Yes.

$NKE - harped on this one too. Everyone went crazy cause Tim cook's advisor bought a tiny position, when the company is headed in entirely the wrong direction. Dumb.
