Failure to maintain proper supply control is why most tokens fail. Wrote an entire article about this. It depends on who's hands the supply is in and what their motivations are. Is supply control held by someone who doesn't need your money, and only trickles supply into the market when needed to keep the market healthy (avoid large slippage for new participants) or is it held by someone who wants to rug their community? It all comes down to stewardship. I didn't think I would have to educate someone as smart as you, sir, on basic supply/demand/scarcity principals.
