imu having unique abilities doesn’t change the fact that he can use swordsmanship which qualifies him as a swordsman and the same could apply to shanks since we still don’t know his full abilities

Nope, doesn’t work like that. Imu’s offense is built on a plethora of unique abilities. Shanks is a Swordsman with nothing but haki just like Mihawk I know you’d love a story where only vista and zoro are weaker than Mihawk but that’s just not the story Oda is writing lol
