let me make sure i’m understanding this correctly the supreme court is refunding all tariff money back to corporations. the same corporations that didn’t pay a single cent of those tariffs to begin with. they passed every dollar directly to you through higher prices on everything you buy you went to the store and paid more for groceries. you paid more for clothes. for car parts. for literally everything. that money came out of YOUR pocket not theirs and now the refund goes to THEM? the corporations who used the tariffs as an excuse to raise prices even higher than the tariff itself and pocket the difference the american people funded the tariffs. the corporations profited off the tariffs. and now the corporations get a refund on money they never spent in the first place and nobody in washington thinks the people who actually paid should get the money back. not a single person has even suggested it guess we are never getting our DOGE checks either this country does not work for you. it works for them. it’s a joke and they’re not even pretending anymore

It was only an accident because the intent was carried out on the wrong person. How can you say it was an accident when you had the intention of chasing another person with a loaded weapon. His intent was clearly to shoot someone.

NEW: Footage released of a Chicago officer shooting his female police partner, who had allegedly broken off their romantic relationship. Prosecutors say Baker "accidentally discharged" his gun, while the female officer's family previously said the situation "does not pass the smell test," according to local news. Officer Carlos A. Baker and Officer Krystal Rivera are seen in the bodycam footage chasing a suspect. Suspect Jaylin Arnold had been observed walking with an "unusual bulge" under his jacket, which they believed may have been a drum magazine. The officers were seen chasing after Arnold, who ran into a building. As Baker headed up the stairs and as Arnold ran into an apartment, Baker was seen firing a single shot, which hit Rivera, who was following behind. Rivera family attorney, Antonio Romanucci, said the officers were in an "on again, off again" romantic relationship. Anyone working with the "public" should be able to carry their own protection. This happened in Charlotte NC in early 2023. He was a city bus servant for 20+ years and some YN got hostile because the driver had designated stops & his stop was way past and got mad and confront the driver, causing him to shoot multiple rounds at the perp, luckily he nor the passengers were struck. Too bad he lost his position and he sued the Charlotte-Mecklenberg transit station.
