@MrPitbull07 @Eagleresa @HarvardHBS why does treating people like human beings have good outcomes? I thought CEOs were supposed to trickle on us.

Remember Dan Price...that CEO who took a pay cut so he could pay all his employees a minimum annual wage of $70,000? Here’s what happened next:
“Six years later after the decision that others said would destroy his business, Dan reports that revenue has tripled, the customer base has doubled, 70% of his employees have paid down debt, many bought homes for the first time, 401(k) contributions grew by 155% and turnover dropped in half. His business is now a Harvard Business School case study.”
In his own words:
“6 years ago today I raised my company's min annual salary to $70k. Fox News called me a socialist whose employees would be on bread lines.
Since then our revenue tripled, we're a Harvard Business School case study & our employees had a 10x boom in homes bought.
Always invest in people.”

🇺🇸 Sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln are reportedly going hungry.
Small portions, poor-quality food, the mail is blocked, so families can't even send snacks.
This is an active deployment near Iran. One of the most strategically critical patches of ocean on Earth right now.
The U.S. Navy can launch strikes worth millions of dollars per sortie but can't keep its sailors properly fed.
Hard to project power abroad when the supply chain breaks down before it reaches the mess hall.

🇺🇸🇪🇺 The U.S. is quietly warning Europe that weapons deliveries may be delayed. Officials told several European countries that ongoing shipments could slow down as the Iran war drains U.S. stockpiles. Countries in the Baltics and Scandinavia are among those affected. Some of these weapons were already purchased but haven’t been delivered yet. Now they’re being pushed back. No official statement. Just private warnings. Source: Reuters
