I specifically said that his sin was blocking God's specific command to procreate. He had the opportunity (and even more importantly the God-ordained responsibility) to try and create life, and he intentionally went the other way. I'm not a Catholic, and don't pretend to know what they believe--but I can't for a moment think that they believe it's sinning to have sex with your wife and finish inside when she's pregnant--and it's not physically possible to get pregnant again. If you take what you're saying at face value and extend it to its limits, you would arrive at this same conclusion... that because the sperm cannot create new life (since pregnancy is in process), that having relations with your pregnant wife is also sin.

@dfd282 @Ruesavatar The sin of coitus interruptus was universally condemned by the ancient world also. Clement of Rome and Barnabas in their epistles condemn it as well (around 60 AD-70 AD!). Genesis says God is the lord of the womb, if we try to be the lord through contraception we are evil.

I just learned that Catholics consider oral sex to be a mortal sin, even within marriage, and I have never felt more relieved to be a Protestant.

Onan did not sin by ejaculating in a way that prevented pregnancy. His sin was intentionally doing so after having been instructed by God to provide offspring for his brother's wife. Sperm going places other than the vagina is not sinful. Disobeying God's explicit order to procreate, is.

@Ruesavatar Classical Protestants condemn it as well, the early church and it’s a sin against nature, have you not seen the sin of Onan? You’re no Protestant, just some evangelical

I've not had down syndrome affect anyone in my immediate family, however I've had multiple families who I consider close friends who have down syndrome children in their families. Those kids (and adults! one I knew well made it to over 60 being cared for by his brother before he passed) are some of the most incredibly loving, generous, and joyful people I've ever met. I pray God ends this scourge of abortion in our land!
Megan Basham@megbasham

Imagine the message you are sending right now to every person with down syndrome around the world. You are telling them that their lives are not worth living. You are telling them that if their existence is an inconvenience for someone else that person should have the right to kill them. This is a horrific post and I hope you come to see that someday soon.

Already underfunded public schools may be excluded from this property tax proposal, but the impact goes far beyond education. This isn’t a tax cut—it’s a tax shift. FL families deserve to know the full consequences before voting. 🔗 bit.ly/4xk5qtI

@MollyDavis543 lol. They’re probably trying to take over your mortgage at the low rate you have locked in. It’s called an assumable sale and many mortgage companies allow it.

Our Realtor called and said someone made an offer on our house. It's some sort of "financing group" that offered full asking price.....but there's some weird arrangement where they pay our mortgage for 7 years before taking title?!? It sounds like some sort of reverse mortgage nonsense. I told her it smelled like a scam and we aren't interested. When I tried to explain to my husband what the "offer" was, his response was "Sounds jewy". 😝 🥰

@GenZMultifamily Depends. It’s not easy to break tiles in a shower. If the tenant or their kid took a hammer to it, they pay. If the tiles were installed on drywall that rotted over time instead of durock, and they leaned on the wall and it caved, you pay.

The middle class is the most expensive place to live, and no one talks about it. Lower income households get assistance. The wealthy use tax strategies and loopholes. But the middle class pays full taxes, full tuition, full healthcare, full everything. So you work 50 hours a week just to stay in the same place and fund everyone’s life except yours.

And what about families who've lived in Florida for over a decade--but as renters. Does this allow them to claim the tax break if they buy their first house after Jan 1, 2027? I'm all for the break--but it needs to be consistent, every homesteaded property, regardless of longevity.

Forget whether you support the property tax amendment. Start with a more basic question: Is it constitutional? Under this proposal, a family that moves to Florida in December 2026 gets the full exemption. A family that moves to Florida in January 2027 gets a dramatically smaller exemption and waits five years for equal treatment. Same country. Same state. Same neighborhood. Same house. Different tax bill. Not because of income. Not because of property value. Not because of age. Because they arrived a few months later. The constitutional right to travel means states don't get to create first-class and second-class citizens based on when they crossed the state line. That's not a talking point. That's decades of constitutional law. Before Floridians vote on this amendment, they deserve to know whether this provision survives the first lawsuit.

🚨MUST SEE AMERICA! TEXANS ARE RISING UP "I WAS KIDNAPPED BY MUSLIMS" - GREAT-GRANDSON OF SAM HOUSTON & DAVY CROCKETT DESTROYS FRISCO MOSQUE PLAN This one hit like a thunderbolt. Joel Teemi, direct descendant of Texas legends, stood before the Frisco City Council last night and delivered pure fire: “My great grandfather was the first president of the Texas Republic… Sam Houston. Another great-grandfather fought at the Alamo… Davy Crockett. My great-great-great-grandfathers fought under George Washington in the Continental Army.” Born on Langley Air Force Base. Military family for generations. He went into ministry instead, preached in 58 countries. In 2021 he was kidnapped and held hostage by Islamic supremacists in the Middle East while caring for the widows and children of the 21 Coptic Christians beheaded by ISIS on that Libyan beach. His own young children have lived on the front lines. Their friends were killed by Muslims. His message was crystal clear and unapologetic: “I don’t want to bring a mosque to Texas ever. We shouldn’t have one here. It’s incompatible with what it means to be an American.” He pointed to true assimilation: his brother’s wife, a former Muslim from India, converted to Catholicism, learned English, and joined a church, instead of demanding a mosque. “Christ is King… Stay true to your roots.” Real Texas bloodlines are showing up and saying NO. Frisco is awake. Texas is awake. The fight continues.

ALERT TEXAS! Sharia in the Heart of Texas: The Silent Takeover No One Is Talking About 🚨 Texas is under Islamic transformation at an alarming rate—mosques across the state are no longer just places of worship. They are expansion hubs for Sharia dominance, complete with Islamic governance, commercial control, and social services designed to operate outside of U.S. law. 📍 The Latest Front: The Islamic Center of Quad Cities (ICQC) Once a small operation in a strip mall, ICQC is now building a massive, 24,000 sq. ft. mega-mosque, education center, and commercial empire in Frisco, Texas—and it’s just one piece of a statewide Islamic expansion strategy. 💰 $2.4 MILLION Raised in 5 Months - Now they are raising more... How? Who’s funding this? The speed and scale of this project suggest serious foreign financial backing—the kind seen in Saudi, Qatari, and Pakistani-funded Deobandi strongholds. 🚧 Construction Timeline: Fast-Tracked to Completion ✔ July 2024 – Permits issued, site work begins ✔ 2025 – Foundation, plumbing, and electrical installations ✔ By end of 2025 – Steel acquired, full-scale mosque construction begins 🔗 Coordinated Sharia Expansion: The ICQC & EPIC Connection ICQC is directly aligned with the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC)—which is building a 402-acre Sharia-controlled Islamic city. Their key fundraiser, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour, who is from EPIC is a regular at mega-mosque funding events across Texas. This isn’t just about worship—it’s a political, legal, and ideological operation. 🚨 What You Need to Know: The Hijrah Blueprint in Action The Islamic concept of Hijrah—migration for the sake of Islam—is playing out in real time across Texas. These mosques double as governance hubs, creating self-sustaining, Sharia-compliant enclaves that reshape the culture and legal landscape. 🔎 INVESTIGATE. EXPOSE. STOP THE EXPANSION. 🔎 Texas is being systematically transformed. The media won’t cover it. Politicians won’t touch it. But we will. Read my latest report: rairfoundation.com/sharia-heart-t…

@WhiteHouse Before the average American can buy a house you're gonna need to address the inflation crisis. This, right here, is why we can't afford homes. And it has nothing to do with corporate America buying them up. Graph is from here: x.com/ChristianHeien…

“I can’t wait for the housing market to crash!” It already has. Everyone who keeps calling for a housing market crash is missing the fact that housing is already about as cheap as it's ever going to get. It just doesn't feel that way because our paper money is worthless.
