What we do to our fellow species is a travesty How could the mass caging, confinement & horrific cruelty of sentient beings ever be considered acceptable We’re all connected, protecting animals means protecting ourselves We must #EndFactoryFarming & #MakePeaceWithNature @ciwf

The media told me a lot about the multi-millionaires who tragically lost their lives in the yacht sinking, just as I learnt plenty about the billionaires who lost their lives in the titanic sub I will never know anything about the migrants who lost their lives in the channel

Problem is that after a few years, most people normalize extreme climate as normal They also normalize disappearance of world Bees insects birds wildlife, marine life, forests wetlands and their replacement with a sterile barren lifeless landscape as normal

The lengthy sentences on the 'Just Stop Oil' protestors are grotesquely disproportionate. As for the judge forbidding them to explain why they were protesting, it looks. like fascism. I deplore it.

Take it in. The first female chancellor. The first housing secretary who's actually lived in social housing. The first education secretary who was on free school meals. An energy secretary who actually believes in aggressively fighting climate change. Not a bad afternoon.

Just look at these WhatsApps from a private school parents group… If only the wealthy would mobilise this well to help others Not just themselves.

For the last 14 years as an NHS doctor, I have watched this party, these governments, savage the NHS into a crumbling shell of a once great institution. Deliberate, calculated, shameless destruction. Only one thing to say. Please, if you still want an NHS, do not vote Tory.

King Charles who loves killing foxes, birds, and badgers has been made Patron of the RSPCA. King Charles used his power to block a ban on Fox Hunting and to make sure it is the joke ban we currently have. RT if the RSPCA should remove him.

"Duncan Baker has begun putting himself about to get noticed. Steffan Aquarone and the LibDems are reckoned by Electoral Calculus to have a 72% chance of taking the seat, as against Mr Baker’s rather forlorn looking 23% of holding it." Pecksniff's Diary, eastangliabylines.co.uk

Maybe what they want is some bloody sunshine and fresh air - industrial farming dystopia - horror show

For those saying the ECHR is out of date…no. It was built *exactly* for times like this. Guarantees of human rights are not built for when the going is easy. They are built for when the going gets harder and bad leaders try to whip up their nations to do bad things.

We face a 1/5 chance of 4C by 2060 on current emission trajectories. A temperature ‘incompatible with a global civilisation’ Despite this our govt is seeking to open new oil fields. @JustStop_Oil protests seek to highlight this. I’ll take a nuisance over the alternative any day
