As part of the DIHAD+ Rome initiative, DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, in collaboration with Luiss School of Government and the Center for International and Strategic Studies (CISS), hosted a high-level panel discussion titled " Building Peace Through Humanity – The Role of Development, Diplomacy, and International Cooperation” in Rome, Italy.   The keynote address was delivered by H.E. Amb. Prof. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Organisation and Chairman of DISAB; Roving Ambassador of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) for the GCC Region. The insightful panel focused on advancing global peace through sustainable development, highlighting the role of diplomacy, and featured esteemed speakers including Mr. Amin Awad, President of the Foundation Council, DCAF Genève Center for Security Governance; Former United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and Crisis Coordinator for Ukraine; Senior Fellow, Advanced Leadership Initiative, Harvard University, Eng. Khaled Al Attar, Director General, DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, Dr. Michael Koehler, Grand Bargain Ambassador; Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges; Deputy Director- General, European Commission (ret.), Prof. Raffaele Marchetti, Professor of International Relations at the Department of Political Sciences and the School of Government, LUISS Guido Carli, Director, Center for International and Strategic Studies-CISS.

DIHAD Sustainable Organisation has signed a strategic agreement with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to support the IFRC Limitless Youth Innovation Leadership Academy with a total contribution exceeding AED 365,000, reaffirming DIHAD’s role as an official partner of the Academy during the global launch of the “Peace” edition.
