@SmaAfc @_VALKlNG Barca fans think their all their players are the best. Unbearable fanbase. It's the lack of awareness that annoys me so much

They both look good, but suffer from information overload and redundancy. 1. The recent transactions section for instance already shows whether it was a deposit/inward flow, or withdrawal/outward flow of money, and if it was a card payment as well, along with its status with the icons to their left. Showing received/withdrawal/pending underneath the transaction amount is unnecessary. 2. The "View Goal" CTA on each savings card don't follow the styling of other text link CTA's. Rather, it should just be a simple Chevron right icon utilizing the text link colour style to indicate interactivity. 3. The Bottom nav has 1 too many elements. The insights could be moved to the page header instead, next to the notification icon for easier access and a less clustered bottom nav 4. Can pass, but showing amount spent this week along with the balance is also information overload. The insights screen already caters to that. 5. The "your money is under control" text is not adding any real value. By default I would expect that to be the case for any financial/ wallet app I use.

the most underrated hire right now is a great product person. when i say product person i'm def not talking about a product manager. perhaps i think there has to be somewhat of a new role. i don't have a good name for it yet but maybe something like "product thinker".. someone with an intuitive grasp of the product as it exists, where it's soft, where it sings, & how to iterate it toward something even sharper. in some sense, this person has to cohesively hold in their head where this product should be 2 years from now & work backwards from that. i say this cuz when building was hard, engineering was the bottleneck & the status hierarchy often reflected that. building is no longer hard. which means the variance in outcomes has shifted almost entirely to judgment on what to build, how to sequence it, & how to talk about it. & the story matters as much as the thing. internally, it organizes the team around a shared model of why. externally, it shapes the interpretive frame users bring to their first experience. you can't retrofit narrative onto a product & expect it to land, it has to be load bearing from the start. the rarest version of this person sits at the intersection of culture & deep technology. someone genuinely bilingual. they know what's technically possible & they know which cultural currents are real vs. ephemeral. that combo is what separates products that feel inevitable from products that feel assembled. before ppl clap back with this person has always been valuable, i know.. i am just saying now they might be the most *important* person in the room. their value compounds like never before.

@cyrsbel @alz_zyd_ Brain stalled at "...performance type of metric..." because I couldn't make sense of the phrase, but after reconstructing, I agree. Perhaps a bit more simplicity next time.

What's cheaper now is improved and faster querying but intelligence is still the differentiator in any performance type of metric or heuristic that has to do with comprehension and application of these at scale. You'll notice this in the difference in the variety of holistic accumulated results and experiences and memories and lessons. Cultivating smarts is still smart.
