Judgment belongs to the Lord, yes. In Revelation and in Joshua, it is God who deals it out. Sure, he uses humans to do it, but it was on God's orders. One universal command is to establish human courts for the purpose of justice. Without that, we would have total anarchy. Violence would be unchecked. "Love your neighbor as yourself" is from the Torah. "You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." - Lev. 19:18 To fulfill means to uphold. Every single commandment in the Torah is moral. Every single one is about loving God and your neighbor. Every single one!

There is no such thing as an "Old Testament" and "New Testament". There is one Testament; one Covenant forever.

@chesed1973 @DavidGibso19497 @alekthefaithful He didn’t end justice be he took away the human right to give it out because we are all flawed and all deserving of death except for him. No justice isn’t a Christian principle it’s a Christ principle

@chesed1973 @DavidGibso19497 @alekthefaithful When did we lose civility, sanity and context? The fulfilled law per Galatians 5:14 “For the ENTIRE law has been fulfilled in 1 commandment. Loving your neighbor as yourself” Jesus was given authority to give out judgement. We can’t give out judgment of breaking these laws.

You keep jumping from one out of context thing to another. Do you really think Genesis to Malachi is evil? Do you think the God who spoke those words is evil? What about what Jesus does in Revelation? Do you have the same contempt for Revelation? And the armies of heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword—so that with it He may strike down the nations—and He shall rule them with an iron rod, and He treads the winepress of the furious wrath of Elohei-Tzva’ot. On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “King of kings, and Lord of lords.” Also from Revelation: Then another angel came out of the Temple in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. Then another angel—the one who has authority over fire—came out from the altar; and he called out with a loud voice to the one holding the sharp sickle, saying, “Put in your sickle and gather the grape clusters from the vineyard of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.” So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and gathered the clusters from the vineyard of the earth and threw them into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was stomped on outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress as high as a horse’s bridle for 1,600 stadia. Both the wrath and the grace of God are consistent from Genesis to Revelation. Is justice not a Christian principle? Those nations in Canaan that were wiped out were wiped out because of their culture. They sacrificed children. Molech worshippers would heat an idol and place a child in its arms! Now, our conversation began sane and civil. Can we get back to that?

How can you get rid of what God the Father called eternal and what Jesus said would be here until heaven and earth passed away? Eye for an eye does not require an eye for an eye. It sets a limit of no more than an eye for an eye. It also isn't literal. In Hebrew culture it is monetary.

@chesed1973 @DavidGibso19497 @alekthefaithful If God splitting the Temple and veil after Jesus proclaims “it is done” isn’t the ridding of the old covenant idk what is. You can’t love your neighbor as yourself while following laws like eye for an eye or killing people that follow other religions.

@chesed1973 @DavidGibso19497 @alekthefaithful So then where does it come from? And I couldn’t deny all 50 stars being pentagrams being that America is one of, if not the biggest terrorist organization on the planet. It is very on par with evil just like modern Israel and their flag.

No, I’m not saying that. It is neither. It is a later symbol. It didn’t even come about until the 1600s or so. There are six pointed stars of all sorts. Having six points doesn’t make it the same. There is no connection. It’s like saying there are 50 satanic pentagrams on the American flag because they have five points.

@chesed1973 @DavidGibso19497 @alekthefaithful Is it the Star of David then? The Star of David not mentioned in the Bible? The star coming from a shield of a known slingshot marksman who wouldn’t be able to reload a sling with a shield in his hand? Google search Star of remphan looks just like it.

It’s not the star of Remphan for one. Hebrews is speaking of a change in law as to what would be required for Jesus to be a priest according to Melchizedek. If isn’t changing the Torah. The author of Hebrews goes not to say; For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law. Jesus is not a son of Aaron so he can’t be a Levitical priest. The qualifications for a Melchizedek is an indestructible life. That’s the change. Go back to Jeremiah. The same Torah will be for the new covenant as well. It’s just written on the heart.

@chesed1973 @DavidGibso19497 @alekthefaithful Hebrews 7:12 For since the priesthood is being changed, it becomes necessary to change the Law as well. Israel doesn’t seem to want to repent. They still take up the Star of remphan (Acts 7:43) on their flag today. Any mention of changing it?

True, but violating a covenant doesn’t cause it to end. It results in punishment but not annulment. Israel was exiled from the land. Once they are ready to repent, the kingdom will be restored to them. Reading through Jeremiah causes me to believe that we are not in the new covenant yet. Yet, we have a taste of it. The Spirit was given as a pledge that it will come.

@dmilesp14 And yet none of the apostles believed "new" means totally replace the everlasting and permanent covenant from the beginning of time until the end. The BritHadasha is a new covenant that adds to the living, breathing covenant since the beginning of time, never replacing anything.

@actiongoldsteen @Mappy6984 Correct, it’s just fulfillment but you can’t love your neighbor as yourself if you’re killing them for not having the same beliefs. “Let the unrighteous continue in their unrighteousness, and the filthy to continue in their filth…” Revelation 22:11

@dmilesp14 @Mappy6984 You do agree that part one sets the rules and part two is the follow up right? Part 2 doesn’t change part 1 because that’s when it started correct?
