I’m pleased to say that we are arranging a second government charter flight later this week from Abu Dhabi. We are now contacting those citizens in the UAE who have already been in contact with us requesting assistance to return to Ireland @dfatirl
🥳Congrats on #InternationalWomensDay to everyone supporting women's equality across the world!
🙏Special appreciation to the amazing ladies of our consular team and in HQ tirelessly supporting the repatriation of 194 people from 🇦🇪 to 🇮🇪 via Oman yesterday.

The Embassy continues to advise all Irish citizens to remain vigilant. Those in Bahrain should follow the advice of local authorities. For awareness, the King Fahd Causeway to Saudi Arabia remains open. Live updates on border conditions kfca.sa/en
@ushouldbeontv@kenoflynnTD All due respect Francis grow up we live in the Middle East to explore better options for our future generations and our families
There are approximately 14,000 Irish citizens living and working across the Middle East.
Many have families here at home who are worried.
The UK has issued clear advice to its nationals. They have been told to register their presence and stay in close contact with their Foreign Office.
Irish citizens deserve the same clarity from our Government.
We need:
• Clear, country-specific guidance
• A formal registration mechanism
• Dedicated emergency contact details
• Regular public updates
Families should not be left guessing.
I am calling on the Minister for Foreign Affairs to provide immediate, structured consular guidance for Irish citizens in the region.
If you have family affected, contact the Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Team on +353 1 408 2000.
Ireland must look after its own.

@MaryLouMcDonald Ahh Mary the last time you guys announced a solution you touted the idea of building homes that would cost 300, 000 eu. Even the dogs in the street knew you could not even construct houses for that amount in Dublin. I know people in the building game and they all scoffed at this
Another day of shame for Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael! Homelessness hits another record high. It is not normal for 16,353 people, including 5,145 children to have no place to call home while big landlords laugh all the way to the bank.
It doesn’t have to be this way. We can build public housing on public land, we can get rents under control, we can open up derelict homes. It’s about time this do nothing government got to work.
🚨Back in June I spoke about how the price of a kilo of chicken had hit €11. Today, new figures from the CSO show that the price of some meats have jumped by as much as €5 in the last year! The report also shows the price of fish, milk, cheese, bread and butter all up. This confirms what you already know. The cost of putting food on the table is out-of-control.
It shows again why October’s Budget must be about ending the rip-off, getting costs under control and supporting workers and families. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael sitting on their hands as household are under huge pressure is not going to cut it.
@dn67@theairhelper@dn67 Hello, Damien. Thank you for reaching out to us. This is not the experience we wish for you to have with us. Kindly send us a direct message with your booking reference so that we may assist you further.
@theairhelper tell you that you get paid flight compensation after 7 days and one month later still no money has arrived. @qatarairways are you aware your paying a compensation to a company that are not paying your customers?
