@rhofford Soil dependent I would say. Works for us, helped a lot in drought years. Canola rooted deeper, likely stayed cooler too. Do a test strip this fall. Ripped several acres last fall on loamy sand.

A 590 with 710 tires. Surely if it’s got a full set of weight it won’t power hop? Normally we only want 800’s (no we aren’t spending the $$ on tracks)

These @BanjoCorp sprayer filter bowls should be see through. Maybe they will be some day. I want to be able to see if my filter is plugged without dumping a bunch of chem on the ground. Or monitor water quality during a recirc clean out. Change my mind 🤔

I'm thinking pretty seriously about locking in my diesel needs for the farm for 2026. I'm able to hold enough product for the year. Can't book ahead at current retailer, so I'd be taking "winter" fuel now. Do I take winter fuel or prebuy elsewhere?

@RonSteciuk @zeefarmer Yes, that’s the downside. But if fuel goes down I guess they honour that/pay the difference. Looks like the pull from coop refinery and a few others.

@zeefarmer Boom recirc on my 412R is pretty great but keep wishing for a bigger tank, especially when going 20gpa. With the prev 4038 I would air purge a lot to reduce priming waste. Helps but not the same. I’d go with recirc first, can find several ways to speed up fill time before ext.

What would you chose? 1) Boom recirculation 2) Tank extension Can't/don't want to do both this year. I would lean towards recirculation but we don't do a pile of switching between chems. Bigger tank would be nice but most work is 7.5 gal and 160-320 ac fields.

@LowBoomLowDrift Yup same as Hagie and newer deere option. Nice to have. Boundary track and rtk boundary’s has limited how much I steer headlands anyway, hard to believe folks don’t use that tech when it’s just sitting there.

X9 chickpea settings. Anyone have any along with concave setup? Having some issues plugging separator grates and not sure there is a fix besides waiting. And I’m not taking that answer.
