What’s one book you wish you could read again for the first time?

Workload is definitively more in Govt. Medical Colleges, undoubtedly. PGs have very little time for research related work. There are some academicians in some department whose main focus is only on research and those PGs attached to them only get time to churn good thesis. Else it’s difficult to balance patient care with quality research

Is the workload of PGs same doc ? Especially in a govt setup?

AI is helping tremendously the PGs to finish off the writing the content in a jiffy and then humanise it and get plagiarism certificate of less than 10 percent. In our times, average time to write the thesis content, proof reading and binding took about 6 weeks. Unfortunately creative thinking is lost, but the task is mechanically done. That’s what postgraduates also want. Guide’s job is limited to approval of thesis topic acknowledging the knowledge gap and making sure the methodology is followed by the PG.
