@AnkerMath I ran into this with my AP Calc class this year too. I'm still trying to figure out the best course of action for next year. I was considering limiting the number of retakes they could do. That way they still can make up for a bad day if needed. I have to change something...

I'm probably going to regret tweeting this... I'm not planning on doing retakes in AP Stats next year. They are not increasing learning, they are promoting procrastinating and a blasé attitude toward exams. Kids ask me when the retake will be while I hand out the test. I'm done.

A new type of typeface might be beneficial to neurodivergent readers! 🤯 It's called bionic reading — the first few letters are bolded, making it easier for readers to glide through text and stay focused. (links in reply)

When a HS student gives you the sour dough starter that he made from scratch...you do your best to feed it and learn how to make bread. His Mom and @doesmathforfun have been coaching me on my bread making skills. Still lots of learning to do @Mr_McGrady.

My seniors finished their last day of HS yesterday. I've been with that class for the past three years, and I am going to miss them dearly. I'm so thankful to have had such a wonderful group to go through the ups and downs of the last year with. They are incredible people.
