@alexseemyworld0 yea that’s all that’s required. and yea i would say def wait before buying any equipment. get comfortable, see what you like, if anything at all, and then go from there. don’t want to jump into anything too fast and regret it later

@dylanisunique all i need is a macbook for logic pro right?, i don't wanna rush into it bcs i was thinking of getting the 5k dollar equipment after learning for some months but i don't want to be too eager just that?

i’ve never made a beat before but in terms of recreating songs, my friend and i had a challenge at the end of last year to cover our favorite songs and ever since then, i’ve been teaching myself how to vocal produce and listen to harmonies in songs by ear instead of searching for part breakdowns. my advice is just be patient with yourself because while there is an infinite amount of things to learn, once you get the ball rolling, you’ll get better with time. in terms of equipment, i wouldn’t depend on what you’re doing so if you’re more specific i might be able to help 🤗

@dylanisunique omg...how did you start like I've been gravitating towards it lately...I've been making beats since i was 11 but i lost my zeal when my dad passed..but i found it again and wanna do it for real this time with real equipments, like tips on how you learnt?or any advice

@alexseemyworld0 no where near professionally but i make covers from time to time so i know how to use Logic Pro. i just took the stems for both versions and meshed the beats until they sounded cohesive
