This doesn't mean either party holds the complete truth. Do you not understand that opinion pieces are irrelevant?

Hey @MikeWingerii You are being used by Torben Sondegaard and his friends as proof that his story is legit. This is a norwegian newspaper today: "[he] helped the Christian influencer Mike Winger expose Christian leaders in the US and believes this inspires confidence."

@eandreassen @NewlOdah @MikeWingerii So what is your understanding of why he was imprisoned in the US & eventually deported? Given the secular society in Denmark it can be argued that inevitably his church would be viewed unfavorably by authorities. Is Denmark a highly conformist society?

@Anabenbell @NewlOdah @MikeWingerii Torben and followers are using this apperance as a legitimation of Torbens story, that he "was in jail beacuse of lies" and that "his minstry was tried stolen from him", which is not true. Mike did nothing wrong, but Torben is using it.

Why did you bother to report on the hospital incident? You reported hearsay with no real evidence of what patients truly thought.

@eandreassen @NewlOdah @MikeWingerii The Medium article focuses mostly on theological disagreements between different christian groups. Such disagreements are boring to nonbelievers - except this time it includes deliverance controversies which make for sensationalist content.

Danish media are secular & suspicious of religion & viewed Torben's theology as primitive superstition & a public danger. They conspired to damage his reputation. The TLR website has the full story

@NewlOdah @MikeWingerii @TorbenSonder Yes, but it doesn’t have to be that complicated. He can simply start by giving all his documentation to his friends in Norway who are now asking for it — the churches that have publicly supported him until now. But he won’t. Why? 🧐

@eandreassen @MikeWingerii @TorbenSonder My bar's pretty high for Torben: I expect him to be transparent, speak the truth, the whole truth & nothing but the truth, and admit to any mistakes made in the past-even recent ones, if any. That said, I can understand that an independent investigation'd be best for all parties

@NewlOdah @MikeWingerii @TorbenSonder It’s exactly the opposite. Ask Torben to prove concrete facts with full documentation, and he uses every trick in the book to get out of it. Do your own fact-check of the article 👆.

@eandreassen @MikeWingerii What matters more than what I think is the truth and how @TorbenSonder responds. He doesn’t seem to shy away from critical questions, and I don’t see a cover-up culture at play (at least not yet).

@eandreassen Thank you for the article. It is really interesting. TS could have moved to any other EU country but wanted to live in California, like many evangelicals drawn to palm treees, beaches, the US lucrative preaching circuit….

@MikeWingerii He has sued the whistleblowers and made an "impressive" story that some Danish guy is behind all his problems. Its really problematic. He´s a small evangelist in US-terms, but the damage is real. Ok, now I stop. Check e-mail. Thanks!

@MikeWingerii The revealing of this, in the Danish documentary i 2019, was a big reason for him "fleeing" to the US because of "persecution". Later sesking asylum because of VISA-trouble, witch he later was detained for. Or in his story: "Jailed because of christ" (and because of "lies")
