Based rollups need preconfs to make them fast and more affordable. The Ethereum block time isn’t hitting sub‑second anytime soon and we can’t get to thousands of TPS in the short term. Need gateways to get to superfast rollups pragmatically.

My mental health has been in a very bad place lately. In the past I would ignore it and just try to work through whatever was going on because I love working at Polygon Labs and in the Ethereum ecosystem. It is one of my primary sources of feeling worth and usefulness. That isn't healthy and not assessing my mental state has landed me in dark places and mental rehabilitation facilities in the past. To be proactive in understanding how best to make adjustments to my mental health regimen, I am logging out of all social media and chat apps for 1 week starting today to adjust my medicines and work with my therapist on a plan. Huge thanks to my friends at Polygon Labs and their leadership for their support as well as my lovely friends inside the internet who I love. See you next week! ✌️
