How Trump was defeated in the Strait of Hormuz?
Unable to win militarily, unable to rely on allies, and unable to bear the economic cost—this triple deadlock has left Trump oscillating between “threats” and “backing down.” He wanted to play the role of a “boss making an exit,” but ended up looking like someone dodging responsibility; he tried to force allies to take over, only to reveal that he couldn’t even keep things under control himself.

BREAKING:
Shock in the United States after Iran destroyed America’s most advanced airborne command aircraft in a precision strike in Saudi Arabia.
U.S. network Fox News highlighted the incident, stressing that the destruction of an E‑3 Sentry airborne early‑warning and control aircraft represents a major loss, as its value reaches half a billion dollars and it requires significant time to manufacture.
The channel also accused Russia of assisting Iran as retaliation for U.S. support to Ukraine.
According to Fox News, the U.S. Air Force operates only 12 aircraft of this type.

#Opinion For decades, #NATO has largely relied on the #US for security and defense. Trump, unlike his predecessors, insists the US is being ripped off and should be paid back.
With the #StraitofHormuz now effectively closed thanks to the US-Israeli war against #Iran, the #Trump administration believes it is a perfect time for NATO allies to repay the debt long overdue.
Yet when the US demanded NATO allies join its effort to reopen the vital waterway, the response was underwhelming across the Atlantic. European leaders from Berlin to Paris ruled out warships, treating the conflict as largely a US business.
It is hard to say that the European leaders have no viable reason to reject Washington, which in the past year bullied them in an unprecedented way. Obviously, they are seriously revisiting their partnership with the US.
Facing Europe's rejection, Trump demanded allies to "go get your own oil" and threatened to quit NATO.
It is increasingly clear that this partnership established during the early days of Cold War is beyond rescue. A total break-up seems just a matter of time.

@kajakallas You only talked about Iranian counter-attacks, yet not mentioning the U.S. and Israeli attacks against Iran?
