Yesterday, we launched our new research centre. We represent a diverse group of researchers working on various health behaviours (PA, nutrition, etc), health & behavioural economics, health care, business, education, engineering, data analytics & AI, health informatics.

New paper: towards an empirical definition of VILPA (vigorous intermittent lifestyle physical activity): journals.lww.com/acsm-msse/full… During activities of daily living, VILPA elicited a physiological response (%V̇O2max & %HRmax) at 77-83 sec, and 45 sec for perceived exertion.

I am honoured to have received a research grant from the Danish Heart Foundation @Hjerteforening with my wonderful colleagues to conduct the world's first Vigorous Intermittent Lifestyle Physical Activity intervention targeting physically inactive 40-65 year old women
