They are objectively the best company in the gaming space & also no offense but I don't think you have an amazing idea on how development actually works. They want to implement a unique long term solution to deal with the issues that are happening in their games that don't violate their ideals on privacy. Whatever VAC turns into will be something along those lines, AI anti cheat, or whatever else. That obviously comes at a cost of us all dealing with more cheaters / less enforcement short term but in 10 years time this is the better option versus going for something like kernel which is fully circumventable with enough money. In regards to fixing the game the main issue is properly the delay after killing which they've been trying to fix and new movement animations (AG2) which pretty much everyone knows is coming relatively soon. This stuff is incredibly high skill and high time to develop, then test then implement relatively bug free. It is by no means easy. Most players fail to understand this so hopefully this is somewhat educational & before people say "they should hire more people" that would have relatively low impact too xd.

Valve has sent an email to New York customers about the NYAG lawsuit. We are living in a crazy timeline, very cool of them to actually speak on it.

Valve on skintrading: "We think the transferability of a digital game item is good for consumers—it gives a user the ability to sell or trade an old or unwanted item for something else, in the same way an owner can sell or trade a tangible item like a Pokemon or baseball card. NYAG proposes to take away users’ ability to transfer their digital items from Valve games. Transferability is a right we believe should not be taken away, and we refuse to do that." This is Letitia. Letitia recently tried opening 40 CS2 cases after being inspired by Ohnepixel. When she didn't get a gold she decided to sue Valve to destroy their entire business. Personally I think she should just open 40 more cases, she's due.
