Whats Dan Hurley looking for in his new assistant? "You've got to be relentless. You've got to be able to do it 11 months a year. Youve got to be obsessed with it. Youve got to take your job home with you." This is why UConn is UConn. And your team isnt

Chris Algieri says If Boots fights the same way he did both times vs Karen Xander Zayas is going to BOX HIS SHOES OFF and WIN😳 Stylistically it’s a really tough fight for Boots I’ve never see him close distance on a guy who can move and punch- 📹: @boxing_inside #Boxing

@BucketsBball_ @FC_CoachShav Changing speeds and hesitstion( same family) is the key to life! When you slow down, they slow down but right when they slow down, you accelerate.. hard to deal with!! A defender has to be super smart, patient and anticipate correctly to handle it. Not many can.

@bobby_lutz @Coach_Rick57 When I saw his team 3 years ago before the first title, I said oh they are winning it this year… I don’t make off the wall claims like that unless I realllly see it… I really saw it! The plays and ball movement were precise and on time. He had the perfect pieces for it also.

I love Hurley’s offense. Win or lose no one runs better set plays to get their best players the most shots. Coincidence or perhaps the reason his teams do so well in NCAA tourney? Combination of open flow offense with old school set plays.

@stephenasmith Just for clarity, that was the pregame shake. They are also suppose to shake after the starting lineups are announced at the final 4. Dawn didn’t make it out the huddle for that shake. That is the one Geno is referring to. Still his behavior was wrong. Just clarifying.

Look for yourself. Can’t believe Geno did this. Couldn’t take losing to Dawn Staley. Simply and plain. Horrible, horrible look for him. Straight B…. Move: ctinsider.com/sports/uconn-w…

@LloydCh21396493 @FrankRi27163892 @ohhenryTOTFC @stephenasmith For clarity, Dawn shook his hand pre game. But after the starting lineups are announced they are suppose to shake hands. Dawn never made it out the huddle to shake his hand. That is was Geno is referring to. Imo he overreacted but that’s the story on the handshake.

@FrankRi27163892 @ohhenryTOTFC @stephenasmith You don’t see it?? Am I imagining things? And Geno may have estrogen, but Dawn clearly has too much testosterone yelling about how she’s going to beat Geno’s ass over and over. Very classy. Just what we should be showing our young daughters.

That was some straight B.S. from the GREAT Geno Auriemma. Never — ever — thought I’d see the day when the greatest woman’s college coach in history would go down so CLASSLESSLY!!! Horrible look, and should be called out for it. He got OUTCOACHED. Plain and simple. And gets in her face like she did something wrong to him instead of being gracious. Had Dawn Staley acted like that we would be all over her. #HorribleGENO!

@ohhenryTOTFC @Kenny_smith5 @stephenasmith Dawn shook his hand pre game, that’s true. But after starting lineups are announced, the coaches are to shake hands. It was at that point Dawn didn’t meet Geno to shake hands. That is what Geno was referring to. He still overreacted imo but that’s the story of the handshake.

@TheTennisLetter I’m not an expert but my guess is by the swing of Nadal’s racket, they are working on pace. Iga, is trying to kill every shot which has worked but others are now able to deal with that. My guess is she is working on a little more loop and not so flat.. I could be wrong!! lol

I was talking boxing years champ, there’s no doubt you got more in the tank than them. That is not a knock on you though, you kept your body in top condition. But there’s a lot of young hungry fighters that wanted that work that you never let challenge you.

@GreatDayTarHeel @ESPNBooger Yes it’s been proven that odds are slim in trying to win a title with young guys. Coach Cal learned the hard way. John is learning now. When your best players are underclassmen and going against seniors/juniors/veteran back courts, it’s going to be tough. Experience matters…

@MattGilesBD @LouatTheState Coach Cal dealt with this is & now John is. It’s hard to win a title when your best players are young. Sure Melo did it, Kentucky 1 year and maybe Duke 2015 but the vast majority of the time an upperclassman backcourt and/or veteran team gets it done. Experience still matters.

Just left the Duke locker room. Whew, that was tough. Here is Cayden Boozer's initial reaction before the media became silent in giving him a break for a minute. Give Cayden Boozer credit for owning his mistakes and not hiding from the pain. Feel for this young man.💔👿🏀🗣⬇️

@YolettMcCuin @ColemanESPN First time I saw HH was ND vs SC game 1 3 years ago. It was her vs Fulwiley. She was ready for the challenge. I knew then she had that part covered, always present. This year she’s made sure everyone else is present for the challenge slowly but right on time. All time great..

Notre Dame’s success this postseason is simple & should be modeled. Niele and her staff is killing it no doubt BUT they have an incredible floor general, leader & a team that loves each other enough to not be denied! Togetherness > Talent! Notre Dame lost a TON of “talent” and now… they are in the Elite 8! Kudos to all involved! #salute @IrishCoachIvey YOU ROCK 👑

@shellone2010 @TNTSportsUS @JalenRose @realchriswebber @umichbball No he said two years before they came they were sorry. He’s speaking of the 2 years after Michigan won it. 89-90 and 90-91. They were actually pretty good in 89-90 , but lost in the 2nd rd of the tourney but in 90-91 they were like 7-11 in the big ten. So he was correct on that.

@TNTSportsUS @JalenRose @realchriswebber @umichbball Chris Webber is really delusional, this is a example of why the Fab 5 never won anything. He said Michigan basketball was really sorry before they came but 2 years before the arrival of the Fab 5 they won a national championship. Hey Chris how many natties did you win? Time out!

@JacquezGreen Love this topic. IMO constructive criticism works best when you are talking to that person 1-1. I don’t think it works telling somebody something via SM or TV for the world to hear. That doesn’t work well. If a person really wants to HELP, they should tell them 1-1.More effective

@pgcountygeneral @KenHeLive If not this, something similar no doubt! I agree! That’s one person I give a pass to because his pedigree is sick. Bulls, Cowboys. SMU, La teams..he’s worked the beat! Being around greats, ie Jordan ,taints his thinking as he thinks everyone should be great but I agree with you!

@pgcountygeneral @KenHeLive Yes he’s done a good job of saying he’s brilliant because he knows he’s not so he relies on others insight. But in the end it’s best to do the research if you are going to have a strong opinion whether you are covering 3-4 sports or not. IMO
