Instead of everyone solving the same problem again to check the answer, Zenon just asks for a kind of “proof” that shows the answer is right.

"epoch 1581 can now be collected"
When you look at it through the lens of this esoteric table, the combination of "call/name" (SA), "measure/span" (TA), and "echo/resonate" (SHI) creates a remarkably fitting picture for its most famous modern association.
It perfectly encapsulates the mechanics of a decentralized network: a genesis entity or code that mathematically measures spans (such as time, epochs, or block intervals) and continuously echoes and resonates across a distributed ledger forever.
It reads almost like a poetic, ancient definition of a blockchain's architecture.

The Bitcoin Portal v2.0 spec leans heavily on Schnorr-based primitives: FROST, MuSig2 - which are the cryptographic infrastructure that Taproot unlocked.
The per-deposit derived key isolation, the threshold signing architecture, the way the bridge treats Bitcoin not as an external chain to poke at but as a native settlement layer whose scripting capabilities are leveraged at a deep level.
None of that works without Taproot. It’s not just that Zenon uses Taproot, it’s that Zenon's logo ascii art is plastered all over the op_return of the Taproot activation block, that the block hash of the 1,337th Taproot block is embedded in Zenon's genesis momentum with the message, "We are all Satoshi. Don't trust. Verify"

Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared so that Bitcoin could belong to everyone. No leader, no owner, no single point of failure. When you run your own node, you enforce the rules. You don’t ask a bank if your balance is real, you verify the blockchain yourself.
Don’t trust. Verify. That’s sovereignty.
