I don’t think the manager contract duration (and the probably relevant break clauses in it) is anywhere near top of the list.

Roberto De Zerbi lasted 1 year at Shakhtar Donetsk. He lasted 1 year 9 months at Brighton. And more recently lasted 1 year 7 months at Marseille. Spurs are set to offer him a 5 year contract with just 7 games left of the season.

not a win on 7 games. If you dont win with Celtic in a league with only one competitor its hardly an achievement.
We won Europa league fine, but we almost didnt make playoff and won a final spite being outplayed all game.
And finished 17 th!

@GaryRWard I agree with u totally, i havent been a big fan of De Zerbi before either. But in this moment to survive relegation i think he is our best option. Playing Greenwood ok, but we have played with Bissouma charged for rape and also using drugs.

Comes down to the ownership/leadership alignment with the manager - If they have a plan, fully back it & let the head coach run with things they want, then they would.
Unfortunatley we go from 1 head coach & his philosophy to another that's a complete 90 degrees in difference, to then not back them for what they need.
