@DrClownPhD That is the plan from Valve, the Steam Machine is just a show product, everybody is talking about "building my own Steam Machine", and that is exactly what Valve wants, the Steam Machine is not supposed to make them rich, Steam does.

I still don’t understand why people don’t just buy PCs and hook them up to their TVs with an HDMI cable.

@Hooandee Creo firmemente que la Steam Machine no está pensada para ser un éxito de ventas, es para demostrar las capacidades de SteamOS, la revolución no es la SM en si, sino lo que va a desatar, creo que empezará una revolución de gente haciendose sus propias consolas a partir de PC's.

@Hooandee Le falta potencia, le sobra precio, se va a quedar sin stock igualmente. Dejando eso de lado, es una opción de libre mercado, nadie te obliga a comprarla (con las consolas no es así), en cambio Steam te da la opción de armarte una tu mismo, incluso usando un PC que ya tengas.

La Steam Machine es una máquina más potente que la media de hardware de los usuarios de Steam, pero ha acabado siendo menos potente que una PS5 Pro. Aquí se ve lo de ‘un PC es más potente que una consola’, pero… es tu PC más potente que una consola? 😅

@ParadxnDeTenas Aunque nos eliminen, avancen a 16avos, 8avos, 4tos, Semis, lleguen a la final y ganen... siguen teniendo 2 copas menos, dejen de creerse el centro del mundo, España es una muy buena selección AHORA, en 5-10 años las cosas pueden cambiar mucho, la humildad no tiene que perderse.

A statement regarding leaking; Past what I’ve already shared, I likely won’t have any further “leaks” regarding Steam Machine and Steam Frame, at least not any without public evidence, considering launch is imminent anyway. This account has always been about providing fast, reliable updates on Steam Hardware, not sharing information that I can’t fully substantiate (as much as I’d love to post those full uncropped images). Since my source isn’t public, I can’t expect people to take every claim at face value until it’s been proven, and consistently leaking information before it has is difficult and regardless is a significant risk for everyone involved. I’d rather stay focused on what this account has always been for, which is covering hardware updates for a community I genuinely enjoy being part of. I’m a huge Valve fan, and I love being able to share information with other fans who are excited for what’s to come. As for my last input on this until further notice; Steam Machine’s price and launch date will be revealed before June 30. If Steam Frame isn’t announced alongside it, then its announcement is expected in July. If I’m ever in a position where I can confidently share something large and have enough public evidence to back it up, I’ll reconsider, though for now there won’t be any more leaks. I appreciate who’s supported my posts, and I hope you’ll continue to stick around for the updates that have always been the focus here. ❤️

@DramaAlert 2. As a lot people have said Raw Power is not the important matter, we have seen already that with all the competition the S.D. had, the one that sold the best was the S.D. itself, by FAR, and it was the one with less power of all of the competition, its about more than raw power

@DramaAlert 1. You can play basically anything with a Steam Deck, only with some tweaking involved... the Steam Machine is going to be 6 TIMES more powerful, so you will be able to play anything, and probably with good framerate.

Gamers are worried that the Steam Machine will be underpowered.

@HardwareSteam Hi! Just so you know, this line is not new, it was already on the initial update, if you check there is a "New in 3.8.5" part at the beggining of the update post, the rest are already there since 3.8 / 3.8.4, But still good news!

The newest Steam Deck Beta Client update continues to reference support preparing for Steam Machine!

@HardwareSteam Its just a matter of building enough Hype to ensure they sell well, and so, it doesn't flop like the first time, if they do well, the plan is going to be genius, if they dont, its going to be just one more hardware piece in the market.

@HardwareSteam 2. They said that it was going to release at the start of the year, but the updates we have been seeing have been going up right now, not at the start of the year.
