🇧🇷 I do think João Gomes could be a really smart signing for Liverpool this summer.
Bit of a Wijnaldum esque move.
Press resistant midfielder who covers a lot of distances, works tirelessly and is a good ball carrier as well.
Only Elliot Anderson (231) won more ground duels than him (199) in the PL last season.
Actually think he’s a decent passer, too.
He’ll definitely inject some intensity and energy into Andoni Iraola’s midfield which is much needed.

Spain's problem is that they don't have shooters. A talented team with great tiki-taka but no ball-striking elites. So weird. They will tiki-taka into the box and they will want to always be inside zone 14 before they shoot.
