🚨💣𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 According to journalist @doucetphilippe2, the referee Mr Ndala filed an official report stating he wanted to stop the match but was overruled by refereeing chief Mr. Safary, who also barred yellow cards for Senegal. This is a Key info the CAS case. 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦

@enKay_dat @mutokya @aoo2309 @Elcamino2030 76 minutes? You’re bringing up arguments that wouldn’t even hold up at CAS. Secondly, once a player leaves the pitch, even if the referee didnt enforce the rule at the time, CAF can still intervene afterward and apply sanctions.

@FrancodonaEra @mutokya @aoo2309 @Elcamino2030 General rule of football begins and ends with the referee's discretion. If the ref deemed it appropriate that the game continue, there is no one who override the refs decision. Apropos of walking off the pitch, Morocco did same in '76. Guess what, they went on to win the game.

@enKay_dat @mutokya @aoo2309 @Elcamino2030 The laws don’t allow a “come back” clause once you leave and refuse to play aticle triggred it’s over. Senegal thought they were pressuring Morocco, but that’s not how it works. Even Pape Thiaw said he doesn’t regret it. Neither do we the laws are on our side, and you broke them.

@jacobdyer96 @htomufc @chelssufferer So apparently an attacking player can hacked down in the penalty box and there would be no penalty provided he's no clear on goal. Pathetic interpretation of the law. Shambles

@htomufc @chelssufferer Unfortunately H, according to Sky Sports in the studio the Amad one isn't a pen because he isn't through on goal be Evanilson is. Absolutely no clue how that's relevant to it being a penalty but that's their stance.

HOLDING OFFENCE. READ THAT AGAIN, OUT LOUD.
Premier League Match Centre@PLMatchCentre

#BOUMUN – 78’ The referee’s call of penalty and red card for Maguire for the denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity (DOGSO) was checked and confirmed by VAR – with it deemed to be a holding offence with no attempt to challenge for the ball.

@FrancodonaEra @mutokya @aoo2309 @Elcamino2030 Don't get things twisted buddy. Morocco COULD'VE, and SHOULD'VE protested to the ref that by virtue of Senegal walking off for more than 15 minutes, they would not participate no more, and it would be well understood. Once y'all got back to the field and restart play, game was on

@enKay_dat @mutokya @aoo2309 @Elcamino2030 No you don’t just leave the pitch intentionally; that completely ruins the game. The fairness was already compromised when Brahim took his penalty after 18th minute. The only place that situation looks acceptable is in your head. End of discussion.

@FrancodonaEra @mutokya @aoo2309 @Elcamino2030 Rule also says ref has the utmost authority on a game. He exercised his power by playing to the whistle. Morocco could have also said they won't participate no more, and they would be right in doing so. Senegal wins this case at CAS. SIMPLE

@SofiaSuSe05 @mutokya @ImadBouklata @Elcamino2030 He didn't, game continued and Morocco missed the penalty. Senegal went on to win the game. What's too hard to understand here? Same way 0he should have giving cards to Morocco players who indulged in the towel fiasco but he didn't. Morocco are nothing but pathetic sour losers.

@mutokya @ImadBouklata @Elcamino2030 @doucetphilippe2 He didn't follow the rules of giving yellow cards to any player who left the pitch without the authorisation of the referee how is that hard to understand!!! That's the basic rule it's not a fault in the game who can make assumptions it's literally something not any player do

x.com/i/status/20347… same Rooney here rating Ney ahead of him. What he said is facts. Neymar is not on the level of Messi/Ronaldo
RoBoss111@RBoss111

@UtdNadd Because Keane mentioned Rooney being better than Neymar and Rooney clearly agrees lol? So the man who thinks he himself is better than Neymar is gonna get most of the slander rather than the ones simply naming others

@quame_age You forgot to add that Rooney got injured almost as soon as Drogba came back from afcon. In the end, they played the same number of games and Rooney didn't play untill the last ~10 of league matches. Context matters bro.

Drogba sometime in 2010 went for the Afcon tournament for a whole month, came back and still scored more goals to win the Barclays premier league Golden boot over Rooney. This is the same Rooney making noise about Neymar today. Lol

@nathan_quao @8elaliYao_ Nat, even with that I still think Senegal still wins this at CAS. Morocco also had the option of refusal to play since Senegal had elapsed "walkoff time" What if they'd scored that penalty??

@8elaliYao_ The officials will have to determine if the walkout met the time threshold. Let's see how they handle that question.
