idk how ppl dont think jx1 is a groomer. jx1 was attempting to coerce and isolate aubree (and somewhat succeeded based on how she retreats when ann tries to offer support, aubree cutting herself, etc) for his own benefit. nonsexual/romantic grooming exists lol
