The pain of FGM does not end when the wound heals, sometimes it does not heal at, girls and young women carry this pain in every stage of their womanhood, complications at during pregnancy and childbirth, and infections that burden our already fragile health care system #EndFGM

Standing with victims of FGM, female genital mutilation is cruel but exposing a tiny baby to baby to such a gruesome act should not go unpunished
