Wow: The Rams plan to propose a rule change to address the Seahawks' 2-point conversion in Week 16. If this call had gone in the Rams' way, they likely would have won the Super Bowl instead of the Seahawks. One of the most controversial calls in NFL history.

Furthermore Seahawks won 2 of 3 games we don’t need to talk hypotheticals. — Seahawks are clearly the better team.

Wasn’t reviewed until some guy off the street called his buddy. Well, the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. But, “the best team” doesn’t always win. Go about your day & life.

@AbrahamDeWeese @tilyt @NFL_DovKleiman How the rule was applied is the issue. Refs on the field ruled it an incomplete pass. Teams were lined up for ensuing kickoff. Any “Joe 6-pack” can’t make a call saying “hey, Dude…you made a mistake.” Doesn’t work that way and that’s what happened.

It was NOT executed correctly. Was ruled an incomplete pass. Only after a tv analyst called the refs is when it was reversed. The issue is that “phoning a friend” - NOT an NFL official - is now OK to reverse a call made on the field. Bad precedence. Should’ve stayed incomplete unless a REAL NFL Official in NY called error.

1. The Seahawks and Rams were clearly the 2 best teams in the NFC. 2. The rule on the 2-pt conversion is clear and was executed correctly. No controversy.. just an unusual play. 3. If the Rams had won in week 16, the only likely outcome is that they'd meet again for the conf title in LA. Seattle won that (actual) rematch at home, and was better on the road, so no decisive advantage for the Rams.
