When it comes to book, aku sebenernya ga ada kesukaan tertentu sih, seringnya ngikut orang #FOMO. Tapi pernah baca satu buku mystery-thriller, "Teka-Teki Rumah Aneh". Bagus juga ternyata, kamu punya rekomendasi horror-thriller, Sam?

I think Kids Who Come Back is my favorite chapter here, and (at least in my opinion), the scariest. Where Are You, Dear Heart? comes close. Ultimately, though, I mostly just feel somewhat baffled and dissatisfied throughout the whole book. Maybe it's just not for me. 3/5 stars.

@parheliones Paling suka dried lemon sejujurnya agar menjadi lemon tea. 😭 Tapi basic banget kan ya. Suka chamomile, karena dia efeknya menengkan dan bikin bisa tidur kalau lagi susah tidur.

@Eternares There are quite a lot, Leandra! I am curious about Lebih Putih Dariku and Dari Dalam Kubur because many people said those are good. I DNF-ed Amba earlier this month.

@warmteacups I’ve also read Entrok and Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk—really good ones, by the way! I might not have explored Indonesian historical fiction all that deeply yet, but I do have a handful worth reading: Pulang, Teh dan Pengkhianat, Amba, Lebih Putih Dariku, and Dari Dalam Kubur.

@warmteacups | Orang-Orang Proyek by Ahmad Tohari. I should admit that certain parts perfectly turned my stomach, especially in how it shows the turmoil that happens when idealism clashes with the blunt force of reality. Felt like it was brushing a little too close to home.

@buttercupswhim The city where I live is usually hot with high humidity. The last time I tried to take care of an orchid, I saw the leaves fall one by one, that was sad. Oh, amaryllis! That was a rare sight. Wondering where do you usually find them?

@etherwraths orchids surely are magnificent.. if people say you are what you love, your choice of orchids makes that feel true <3 and right, it needs to be highly maintained.. i envy people who can grow them properly, i’ve seen some neighbors have them :3 as for me.. i do love amaryllis!

@warmteacups there’s something so sweet about meeting another person who adores flowers.. <__3 would you tell me which flower would you say feel most like you? i’d love to know :3 it’s a bit sad tho, they’re not as easy to spot here anymore either unless i visit a florist :c
