How to sign up for Farcaster
We're focused on user growth and the best way to do that is make onboarding as web2 as possible—mobile and no wallet or crypto required.
If you think this is dumb or "anti-crypto", you're free to a build a Farcaster client that is web-only and uses crypto for payments. No Warpcast required.
Beauty of a permissionless and decentralized system—the potential for real competition.

MARK THE DATE🚀🚀
This is not a drill! After years of hard work, Spacemesh will be launching mainnet. In just seven days, on the 14th of July, anybody with a standard, consumer-grade PC will be able to start smeshing and earning their first Smesh coins!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ℹ️
Work in Progress
All coins smeshed on the Spacemesh mainnet are real, but we want users to be fully aware that we are still in the process of perfecting the platform. This will mean possible crashes and frequent centralized updates for the first few months after genesis.
Updates
You can expect semi-automatic or fully automatic updates. You will need to update to the most recent version whenever notified in order for node to keep functioning properly.
Rewards
Smeshers will get their first reward over the course of a two week period which starts on August 11th. Almost all smeshers will have gotten their first reward by August 15th.
This is because, while every smesher is guaranteed to be eligible for participation (and rewards) within a two-week epoch, the time within the epoch is determined randomly. Some will be eligible earlier and some later.
System Requirements
Minimal requirements for running a node:
* CPU: Intel or AMD x86-64 or 64-bit ARM, including Apple Silicon (but not Raspberry Pi)
Memory: 1GiB+
* OS: Windows 10/11, MacOS, Ubuntu 22.04+ or Fedora 36+
* Disk: 50GiB of free disk space
* An always-on, unmetered Internet connection capable of 5 mbps download and 1 mbps upload.
For smeshing in addition to running a node:
* CPU support for AES-NI
* 256GiB of free disk space for PoST files
To support more than the minimum space allocation for smeshing, or to allow uninterrupted use of the computer while the node is running, it’s recommended to have:
* A hard drive that can sustain at least 100MB/s of sequential read
* A multi-core CPU from the last 8 years
THE REAL OGs 🫡🫡
Thank you for taking this journey with us. Our team has worked hard to get to this point, but it was only possible because of your support. Now, let’s also take on the future together!

1/ 🔵 We’re excited to announce @BuildOnBase. Base is an Ethereum L2 that offers a secure, low-cost, developer-friendly way for anyone, anywhere, to build decentralized apps. Our goal with Base is to make onchain the next online and onboard 1B+ users into the cryptoeconomy.
ART

@bwhli @ParcoMolo9 @FOMOmental Iconwatch actually has own db and partially finished API. We were approached over a year ago to turn it into an official ICON tracker, but couldn't agree on the price. Seems CPS funding won't be a lower figure anyway.
