I'd rather risk the downside of looking foolish than the downside of this catastrophe. Again, even if our chance of affecting it is slight the equation is a no-brainer.

Maybe I'm misinformed. Maybe @LeoDiCaprio was misinformed. But maybe we weren't.

Again, this bill has majority support. You may be wondering, why will a petition signed by people who don't live in Brazil make any difference? I'm not an expert on this, but I have it on very good authority that it will help, via political influence.
