Comrade @ewabwire2008 , from what I've seen on the timeline, I don't think it is safe for any of us to get entangled with guys like @IanMunyani and @ErnestAkor. I am sure you strongly agree.

Counsel @PhillipKarugaba responds to Attorney General @KiryowaKk's presentation yesterday before the committee on legal affairs. He debunks the argument that the bill will only focus and affect foreign agents as referenced to section 22 of the Protection of Sovereignty bill.

Uganda Rugby Premiership Game Week 9 Build Up 🏉 @HeathensRFC vs @HipposRugbyClub Last 5 Meetings • 2025 Week 6: Hippos 38-22 Heathens (Dam Waters) • 2024 Week 3: Hippos 20-20 Heathens (Dam Waters) • 2023 Week 16: Heathens 07-00 Hippos (Kyadondo) • 2023 Week 5: Hippos 24-32 Heathens (Dam Waters) • 2022 Week 16: Heathens 32-08 Hippos (Kyadondo) Facts • Fourth-placed Heathens play last year’s Grand Final Runner-up Hippos in Week 8. • The game was initially scheduled to be played at Kyadondo but has since been moved to Jinja to ease Hippos’ financial distress. However, it is the second consecutive week where at least one scheduled game at Kyadondo has had to be relocated to another venue since the mid-year rains started. A total of 4 games have been moved from Kyadondo to other venues, including last weekend’s doubleheader that saw the Heathens vs Rhinos game played at Kyambogo and the Buffaloes vs Mongers game played at Makerere. • In last year’s Premiership, Hippos recorded a first-ever victory over Heathens, triumphing 38-22. Hippos scored tries through Julius Opio (2), Ayman Bagalana, Rahim Kaziba, and Isaac Rujumba, as Yasin Wasswa added 13 points from the boot. Heathens got 3 tries through former Hippos player Denis Etwau, Nicholas Kato, and Tony Okello, as veteran Chris Lubanga collected 7 points from the tee. • Hippos are unbeaten in their last 2 games, winning last year and drawing in 2024. • Yasin Wasswa and Michael Wokorach have each scored 25 points in the last 5 meetings between Hippos and Heathens. • Denis Etwau has scored a try each for either team, touching down for Heathens in last year’s meeting. He scored a try for Hippos against Heathens in 2022 Week 16, a game Hippos lost 32-08. Powered by @isa_metrics Courtesy photos #FatCatsPod

Uganda Rugby Premiership Game Week 9 Build Up 🏉 @TheKakiraRFC vs @RhinosRugbyUG • After awarding a walkover in Week 8, Kakira resume their Premiership campaign hosting 10th-placed Rhinos. • Kakira Simbas are out of playoff contention as they can’t accrue enough points from their remaining games to surpass Walukuba, who are on 19 points. Rhinos will be out of playoff contention if Walukuba Barbarians secure a draw or win in Week 9. • Rhinos have played 7 games against promoted teams since 2023, winning 3 and losing 4. 2023 was the last time they lost two games to promoted opposition, losing to Walukuba home-and-away. They have already lost to Impis in Week 7 this year. • Rhinos have only won once in their last 6 visits to Jinja in the Premiership dating back to 2023. In 2024 Week 5, Rhinos defeated Walukuba 27-24 at Abel Dhaira Stadium. Last year, the team lost both visits to Jinja (vs Walukuba in Week 7 and vs Hippos in playoff quarterfinal leg 2). • Kakira Simbas and Impis, the teams promoted from the Regional Leagues for the 2026 premiership, have each scored 10 and 19 tries respectively in their first 8 games. By comparison, Victoria Sharks and Elgon Wolves had 29 and 6 tries respectively in the first 8 weeks of last year’s Premiership. Powered by @isa_metrics Courtesy Photos #FatCatsPod
