Excellent, but the Panthers could exact trade revenge and fleece the Maple Leafs. Leafs GMs don’t know what they are doing. Example Brad Treliving gives up on Fraser Minten, gives a away a 2026 1st round pick, (only top 5 protected) and a 2025 4th round pick for Brandon Carlo, a bag of beans blue liner.

First, eligibility should be 6 years for 6 years from minimum age 18 or latest 19. NO WAIVERS PERIOD. Of a player goes to JUCO or DII or III for a couple of year to prove themselves, (ie Adam Theilin) they still would have 4 years to monetize their value in DI or other levels. If a player goes on a 2 year LDS mission, they still have 4 years to play. If a player has an injury year, they still woudl have 5 years to play etc. we don’t need 7, 8, 9 eligibility players.

@BrodieBz I know you have talked about team logos in the past, but maybe it’s time to have a Brodie Brazil Subs sports logos video tournament. Maybe for slow sports news week such as MLB all star game week. You would start with a league (ie MLB) and break the league into 3 - 10 videos. Each video you would go over the history of each of the 10 logos, any controversies, any return to original logos etc. fans would vote at the end of the video. Dyer fans vote, you would update the video announcing the winner. After he 3rd video, there would be 3 finalists, but no winner yet. Do the same for NHL, NFL & NBA. Then the last video you would show each of the leagues finalists and fans would get to vote. These videos could be done live where fans can vote and you could get a quick tabulation.
